How I Quit Crack also released a remixed version of the #OccupyXmas tape entitled “Thee occupy the solstice mix”. Like the #OccupyXmas mixtape, this secondary release is produced by Baku Shad-Do and mixed by Mike Textbeak. I had the privilege of designing the cover for this release.

I havent been able to listen to How I Quit Crack’s version yet, but I have to say the original #OccupyXmas tape is full of protest/revolt-themed weirdo anthems; I cant wait to hear HIQC’s input!

An approximately 6×6 inch design screenprinted onto paper, a shirt, and a light jacket. Paper print is an edition of two, both garments are one of a kind pieces.

The phrase is a mantra I coined for myself.

Some samples for t-shirt designs that I drew up for the band Soviet a few months ago. Only one of these utilizes a readily-designed font, the rest of the typography was generated in illustrator. The large all-caps type in the screen printed images is hand-drawn, although it was loosely based on a condensed version of Helvetica.

Soviet is an up and coming band currently based in Dallas
